UYMG Day 4 - Wrap Up

Posted in Stephen Pierce UYMG at 4:15 pm by tweak-me

I am really in awe of Stephen Pierce, I am absolutely in awe of him I wanted to kneel down and prostrate in front of him.

After so many speakers presented and made moderate sales on their programs and their products. The absolute MASTER went up and captured ALL!

I went into the seminar with the mindset that I will not get anything. I will not spend any more money until I have mastered whatever basics I learnt from the event. I thought I was already very seasoned with the sales process on stage. Set you up. Get you to keep raising hands in agreement? Giving you a limited time offer? Everyone used this.

10 DVDs plus extra software plus bonus interview DVDs plus bonus one to one coaching? I don’t care.
30 days to 30K program bonus this and that? I don’t want that.

But Stephen Pierce stood up on stage, and really did it. He got me to be inspired to take action. The cost of the program?

USD 10K…

oh… you didn’t get that? USD10,000. And get this… I really wanted it!

I will not explain why. But I will tell you he is good, and his offer is REALLY compelling.

Sigh… even right now, I am still wondering if I should have taken that offer… :P

UYMG Day 3

Posted in Stephen Pierce UYMG at 3:04 pm by tweak-me

I am so glad about going to bed last night, and not finishing the video that I intend to…

The wonderful software I told you about, the Blog360 beta? Costs a lot! I don’t want to mention the price… but let’s just say it is a little premature for a beginner like me to begin paying that amount for that one tool.

It’s a great tool, don’t get me wrong. It can send out articles, video clips, audio clips to all the sites you can imagine, even YouTube, ITunes and so on. But for someone just starting out… will I use it fully? I don’t think so. It is about ROI (Returns on Investment), and I really don’t think I can get so much returns, so soon. No content yet.

Today we had to go through a couple of other sales presentations. The two AdWords guys that showed us all that great stuff about coming up with a campaign that will give us instant click-throughs had 10 DVDs to give us.

But, let’s not be negative here. What each of them had taught us are the absolute basics, and we can take that and get some money NOW. I absolutely believe that. Those additional cool stuff they were showing us were cool, but not for me at the moment. I have to do the basics first.

I can’t race F1 when I can’t even kart yet, right?
So don’t sell me the latest Ferrari F1 car. Let me start karting first.

Once again. I am too tired. Still absorbing. So be prepared for more stuff as I absorb them and re-frame them. Is anyone reading this anyway? Any comments, and particular thing you want to discuss? Just comment away!

UYMG Day 2

I am totally tired out!

My mind is now so full of information, I am going into overload soon! (Note to self, remember what was said about information overload.)

It’s been fun. Because I was a little late today, I could not find Atul and had to pick another seat. What a strange coincidence it was, then, that when I picked a new seat, I was sitting next to the very blogger whose blog caught my attention just before I slept the previous night!

Jackie Chew - CashBrew.com
Jackie Chew, from CashBrew.com.

Check his blog out at http://www.cashbrew.com/blog/. mybloglog really works… That was how I came to his site from exploring around.

Worked on a couple of cool stuff today. Affiliate Marketing had been drilled into our heads again and again. It seems that is the easiest thing to start on right now.

Met two cool guys and we formed up a team to work on some of the action items today.

UYMG 2007 - Team 56 at work
Meet Dexter, Kelvin and me.

In a fairly short time, we set up a marketing genius blog .

We moved into the Sales Process and how to capture our list from a Sales Funnel. Familiar? For those of us from Robert G. Allen’s Millionaire Matrix, we have heard about that before. In fact, that was the very thing that got me attracted to Internet Marketing in the first place.

Two of the most valuable things I learnt today, if I must sum it up is the Empty Box Principle by Jaz Lai, and Blog360.

- The Empty Box Principle is very easy, and explains why budding Internet Marketers like me fail. I shall elaborate about this further next time.
- What really blew my mind was Blog360, a weblog package filled with plugins and scripts, all optimized to help a marketer really save time. The tagline is “Push Button Easy”. The target is to make things really push button, easy. The idea is that after creating content on his blog, a blogger would be able to automatically submit his content on ALL the social content sites by “pushing a button”. Great right? Well, the only thing is that making that button work takes a while, and i am sure I am not the only one who faced difficulties today.

Anyhow, I will be doing a video guide for setting up Blog360 beta for myself and whoever wants to know. I don’t think I should share this wonderful package, because they haven’t launched it yet, and we promised not to. I hope my video does not violate any copyrights though. I know, I know, I sorta promised a couple of people I will do it tonight… but I am too tired, man… I need to absorb my information… in bed!
